At Dutchtown Hands of Hope, we believe every student deserves the support and resources needed to succeed academically. That's why we offer free STEM and ACT tutoring to students in our local Louisiana community, helping to close educational gaps and build confidence in the classroom and beyond.
STEM Tutoring
Our STEM tutoring program is designed to help students strengthen their skills in science, technology, engineering, and math — subjects that often present the biggest challenges but also open the most doors for future opportunity. Whether a student needs help keeping up with current coursework or wants to get ahead, our tutors provide personalized, one-on-one support tailored to each student's needs and learning style.
ACT Prep
Preparing for the ACT can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. Our ACT tutoring program walks students through every section of the exam — English, Math, Reading, and Science — while teaching test-taking strategies designed to boost confidence and performance. We work with each student to identify their strengths and areas for growth, creating a customized plan to help them reach their target score.

For many students in our community, access to quality tutoring and test prep can be limited by cost or availability. Dutchtown Hands of Hope is committed to removing those barriers by providing high-quality academic support at no cost — because a student's zip code or financial situation should never determine their access to opportunity.
